Each of us has a Dream Doctor that we can call upon to guide us in healing our mind, body and soul. That healer is our own I Am Self, the Christ within us. This physician not only knows precisely what ails us, but also what we are to do to restore our harmony, holiness and wholeness.
Each night before we go to bed, we can put in our call to our Dream Doctor to make a house call. To do this, we follow Jesus' simple yet profound guidance: ask and receive, seek and find, knock and have the door opened to you in your dreams.
Everyone dreams every night -- this a physiological fact. Some people remember their dreams better than others. Some have vivid dreams whereas others have nightly images that appear confusing if not downright incomprehensible. However, with practice and persistence, by asking and receiving, and by working conscientiously with dreams, everyone can have greater access to the clear guidance of their Dream Doctor.
On this blog, I will post dreams by my co-worker Phillel (Co-Executive Director of Mark-Age), my wife MariLyn Joy Knapp, and myself. Moreover, you also can post your dreams. At the end of each posted dream will be a place to add a Comment. Just click on the word Comment, add your name and email address (and the URL of your webpage, if you want to), and then enter your dream. Another way is to email the dream to me separately, and I will post it. If your dreams are too personal and private, tell me to keep them confidential. If you would like help in interpreting your dreams, I will do that. (I've been interpreting my own dreams for 40 years and have a rich, vivid dream life.)
Dreams come in the language of our subconscious mind. This language includes symbols, metaphors, stories, plays and such. Trying to analyze the dream in a logical, analytical, conscious-mind oriented way, therefore, does not yield good results. Rather, one must learn the language of one's dreams. That is one of the things we will explore on this blog. Moreover, in following the 12 powers approach and visualizations, you may find that you are incorporating 12 powers symbols in your dreams.
For dreams, as a general rule and format, I will focus on three levels of interpretation. First, each dream is a message or story about the dreamer, with all people in the dream representing aspects of the dreamer. Second, dreams also function as messages from or about others, on this third dimensional plane and on the higher, invisible planes of life. Third, dreams may be reports about people in mass consciousness, various countries, natural disasters, and such.
When you prepare to sleep tonight, ask your Dream Doctor for His-Her healing prescription for treating any current imbalance in your thoughts, feelings, memories or physical form. Ask and you shall receive!
