As explained in Birth of the Light Body, the power of understanding functions on the passive or feminine polarity as the complementary partner of the positive-polarity power of imagination. This is one reason why I have positioned understanding-illumination primarily in the Eastern Hemisphere in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
These countries originally were part of one nation, but they split into three separate entities when they gained independence from Great Britain in 1947. The separation was along religious lines, with India’s 1.2 billion citizens currently being 80% Hindu, 13% Muslim, 2% Christian and 1% Buddhist; Pakistan (now 173 million citizens) and what originally was called East Pakistan but which in 1971 became Bangladesh (now 160 million citizens) presently are about 95% Muslim. During the 1947 formation of the three countries, approximately 500,000 citizens were killed in Hindu-Muslim violence. Since then, India and Pakistan have fought four wars, primarily over the disputed areas of Kashmir and Jammu.
Hinduism does not have one single creed or set of beliefs based on the teachings of a particular prophet. Rather, it comprises numerous ways, tenets, approaches and practices. Considered the world’s oldest religion, its written teachings are found principally in the Upanishads and Vedas, and in the many forms of yoga. The best of Hinduism points the way to understanding, illumination and enlightenment. However, Hinduism’s multiple and sometimes conflicting approaches, including its worship of multiple gods, goddesses and animals, are so convoluted and complex that they often promote the mortal confusion and illusions that they strive to elucidate and transcend. In this sense, Hinduism portrays the best and the worst of the power of understanding.
In Sananda’s lifetime as Gautama the Buddha (his other incarnations include Zarathustra, Moses, Elijah, Socrates and Jesus the Christ), our planetary leader and wayshower developed a simple, straightforward, clear and concise approach to enlightenment. This incorporated the best of Hindu teachings, while stripping it of its blindspots and byways. He treated men as equal brothers in the one family of man, rather than labeling them in a caste system whose lowest rung was the “untouchables.” He included women as his disciples. He taught the Middle Way. He promoted practical methods and applications, and refused to get caught up in esoteric, metaphysical, intellectual pursuits that yielded little spiritual fruit. Amongst his teachings was a treatise about the errors of 62 religious pathways and beliefs of his time, which have persisted until this day. Despite his cosmic clarity, however, most Hindus rejected Buddhism. Today, only about 1% of Indians are Buddhists.
From the etheric or Christ planes, the ascended master Kut Humi, who is the Chohan or Director of the Second Ray of Understanding and Wisdom, helps to oversee the spiritual development and evolution of Hindus. He does this in his role or identity as Babaji, whose name means “revered father.” In his physical incarnations, Kut Humi has been Aristotle, William Shakespeare, St. Francis of Assisi, John the Beloved, Leonardo da Vinci and Lao-tzu. As Babaji, he has not incarnated physically but rather has presented himself in what might be called a holographic projection, much in the way that Jesus during his transfiguration presented lifelike images of himself as Elijah and Moses. Paramahansa Yogananda wrote of Babaji in his text Autobiography of a Yogi. We will link with Kut Humi/Babaji as we project understanding and illumination to Hindus, Muslims and all others in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
As part of our interdimensional linking, we also will join with Mahatma Gandhi, who in a prior incarnation was Jesus’ disciple Philip. Gandhi probed the depths and common teachings of Christianity, Islam and Hinduism, and developed his pathway called “satyagraha” or truth force. Commonly called non-violence, Gandhi used this practice to free India from Great Britain. Currently, despite their professed reverence for Gandhi, few Indians actually apply what he taught and demonstrated. Imagine, for example, a widespread Indian movement of non-violent love in action to deal with Pakistanis. Here is the simple yet powerful understanding and approach to heal the division of Hindus and Muslims.
Islamic teachings and practices were introduced into India in the early 7th century, with expanded development especially from 1200-1500 AD. On the one hand, the five pillars of Islam present a concise, practical, readily understandable approach to spirituality, particularly as elucidated and practiced in the mystic Sufi tradition. On the other hand, such a defined approach lends itself to strict, fundamental regimentation and understanding. Moreover, Muslim fanatics falsely allege that Islam sanctions and promotes violence as a way to promote its teachings. What is needed today is a Middle Way that incorporates the best of Hindu and Muslim teachings and that transcends them.
On August 29, 2009, I dreamt that I was with a middle-aged woman who was from the India-Pakistan-Bangladesh region. She had no distinct features or clothing that defined her as being from one or another of the three countries. Rather, she represented and was a spokeswoman for all people throughout this entire area. In a calm, wise, loving voice that could not be disputed or denied, she said that the solution to all of the challenges of the whole region was simple and two-fold. First, the people were to choose peace. When they had peace within and desired peace with their neighbors, the next step was love.
Visualization: We link with the 12,000 or more elect in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. First, we join with them in peace. Then we add love to our radiations and unifications with them. Peace and love: To the vast complexity of the enormous problems in this region of the world comes this simple formula, which is the essence of Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Jainism, Judaism and every other religion.
Peace. Peace be unto you. Love. Love your neighbor as yourself. By understanding and applying these two steps in the Middle Way, all 1.6 billion souls in these three nations are awakened, uplifted, enlightened, illuminated and healed. So we see and understand it. So it is.
